Bridge Nursery News
Autumn 2010

Bridge Nursery has now been established for twelve years and the number of plants available for sale continues to increase with particular emphasis on excellent shrubs.

We continue to grow flowers for cutting. More raised beds have been created to extend the range, with emphasis on foliage plants, which we hope will be of particular interest to flower arrangers.

We are very pleased to continue to supply plants for sale at a local National Trust property and are hoping to supply another near Solihull. This has meant that we have started to grow a number of plants in peat-free compost.

Bedding plants are also now available, along with a good range of early summer flowering perennials.

To avoid confusion we are now open Every Day from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
The nursery will, however, be closed (except by appointment) from Mid-December to 1st February to give us a bit of a break!

Our New Cafe, run by the delightful Naomi, is doing well. Why not try her fantastic cakes ? You won't be dissapointed.

Last year gave us some some difficult weather, generally too much wet! Despite this and the 'credit crunch' we have survived and are looking forward a peaceful winter in preparation for next year.
